A WEB-based property portal is set to see its online presence soar thanks to a contract with one of Scotland’s fastest-growing independent digital agencies.

Meravista enlisted search marketing experts QueryClick to execute a six month campaign to fuel its online performance as it gets ready to launch its map-based property portal.

Initially, the site will be available to browse in English and will feature real estate in the Algarve with more languages and regions to follow suit.

In future, Meravista plan to conquer other foreign property markets as well.

The campaign will be led by implementing Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) services to build the website in a way designed to help the site increase its visibility within search results and perform for relevant keyphrases.

Chris Liversidge, founder of QueryClick, which has its headquarters in Edinburgh, a London base and a newly-launched New York base, said his team are delighted with the win. Is it a first?

He commented: “Meravista is the first company in the region to offer this state-of-the-art, map-based search function which is an extremely exciting client project to be involved in.

“It’s a completely new website with the search function being designed in a way which makes it easy for visitors to find their perfect property – goodbye hours of time consuming, frustrating search entries.

“Our objective is to get the site built in a way which ensures their online presence works as efficiently as possible, by attracting the right audience and ensuring user visits are useful, relevant and profitable.”

QueryClick will execute SEO and Pay Per Click advertising once the website is live, as well as Conversion Rate Optimisation services to encourage site visitors to become clients.

Chris added: “The competition for search rankings is continuing to heat up, meaning more and more businesses are turning to search marketing to help improve their online performance and steal a march on their rivals.”

“Meravista already has a strong advantage on its competitors as it will be the first to offer this kind of service but it can’t rely on this feature to maintain high rankings.

“But getting to the top of the search rankings and having your business seen by thousands of people on a daily basis isn’t necessarily enough to ensure you nail a business transaction.

“That’s why we combine a wide range of search marketing skills to deliver maximum results for our clients.”

Anita Van Huson of Meravista is happy to be working with QueryClick: “We did a huge amount of research before deciding to partner with QueryClick, and have never regretted the decision.

“As a company targeting multinational markets, we felt that QueryClick was one of the few who would be able to manage the project appropriately while being small enough to give personalised service.

“Each member of our project team is an expert in their field, and it shows. The information shared with us is specific and educational while the work performed is clearly accurate and brings results. We’re not happy, we’re ecstatic.”

QueryClick launched in 2008 with just three members of staff and now employees 18 people working on a diverse range of clients including multinational FTSE 100 company, Aggreko.
