Media Release: Part-exchange website launched in Scotland

A NEW website featuring house builders’ pre-owned part exchanged properties, has been launched in Scotland.

www.pxhouses.co.uk showcases homes which have been purchased by leading house builders from their clients, through their part exchange service, and are now being sold on to home buyers and property investors.

Leading house builders including Barratt, Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey, Cruden and Ogilvie are using the website to feature their part exchanged homes.

It is estimated that one in four new homes in Scotland are purchased through part exchanged schemes, which equates to around 4,000 pre owned homes being sold on in Scotland each year by house builders, making the sector worth over £40 million.

Currently, homes priced between £24,995 and £249,000, located throughout Scotland, are available on the website.

Commenting, Jill Creighton, spokesperson for www.pxhouses.co.uk, says: “Part exchange homes are much sought after by both home buyers and property investors as they are chain-free, available for early entry and generally in great condition and priced for a quick sale.

“Until now, there hasn’t been a one stop shop featuring part exchange homes and eager buyers have had to search through numerous estate agent websites and property portals – www.pxhouses.co.uk changes all that.

“The website has been designed to help house buyers sell on their part exchanged homes quickly and home buyers and investors, source part exchanges homes easily.”
