ORGANISERS of this week’s ‘Working Digital’ business event in East Ayrshire are revealing more details of the online elements of their programme which starts today.

East Ayrshire Council and contractor, NSDesign, are behind the ground breaking event which takes places at the Fenwick Hotel from Monday 2 September – Thursday 5 September and is now sold out.

Speakers include representatives from Tennent’s, STV, RBS and Hootsuite.

But the physical event is backed up by extensive online resources such as video on demand and an ‘Ask The Expert’ Twitter channel.

Marketing software giant Hubspot, cloud accountancy provider FreeAgent, employment law specialists BTO, media experts, allmediascotland, the Cultural Enterprise Office and East Ayrshire Council itself are among those dedicating staff to answer questions via Twitter.

They’ll be joined by specialists from the worlds of IT Recruitment, intellectual property, trademarks and contracts.

Anyone can Tweet questions to the experts using #workingdigital #asktheexpert in their messages.

As well as the experts who’ve agreed to monitor the channel and respond to questions throughout the week on their area of expertise, it’s hoped other members of the business community will participate, creating a fully interactive and highly useful resource.

Gary Ennis, managing director of NSDesign said: “This is going to be an incredible week and the response we’ve had from the business community is overwhelming. The wealth of knowledge, insight and experience that’s available, for free, for one week only either in the room or through the online channels is staggering.

“Every business in the country will be able to benefit and they can be part of it simply by visiting www.workingdigital.co.uk.”
