AWARD-winning Downhole Products has been hailed as an example of local companies achieving global success by Aberdeenshire Provost, Jill Webster, during a visit to Offshore Europe 2013.
During the event at Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre, Provost Webster visited the Downhole Products stand where she met company managing director, Ian Kirk.
He was on hand with the Downhole Products team to launch a new range of cementing equipment which has been brought to the market following two years of development.
The Expandolizer ‘BS’ (Bow Spring), Expandolizer ‘SS’ (Standard Service), Expandolizer ‘ES’ (Extreme Service) and Float Shoe & Float Collar build on the existing Downhole Products range of specialist equipment and will broaden the offering to a growing client base.
Commenting on the visit, Provost Jill Webster said: “It was great to meet Ian Kirk of Downhole Products while attending Offshore Europe.
“They are another example of how Aberdeenshire-based companies are growing and expanding across the globe, underlining the region’s important place as a centre for business excellence.”
Downhole Products’ managing director, Ian Kirk, added: “Offshore Europe was the perfect opportunity to launch our new range because the event is visited by many guests from all over the globe, giving our new products tremendous exposure.”
