ABERDEEN oil and gas service company, Centrifuges Un-Limited, has signed a major agreement with a Germany-based company.
Scottish Minister for Energy, Enterprise & Tourism, Fergus Ewing, was on hand for the signing of the distributor and service agreement with the GEA Westfalia Separator Group at Offshore Europe recently.
The agreement will see Centrifuges Un-Limited access products and become a service agent for the company, with plans in place to become its first accredited workshop in Scotland.
Commenting on the agreement Centrifuges Un-Limited managing director, Jim Shiach, said: “This is a first for our company from a supplier point of view and will have excellent benefits in that it will open up a global support network for products from one of the key players in the market.”
GEA Mechanical Equipment UK Ltd managing director, Barry Dumble, commented: “This is a positive step forward for both GEA Westfalia Separator and Centrifuges Un-Limited within the oil and gas market.
