BEATTIE Communications is to invest £1.5 million in a staff and client learning academy in Spain.
The property, a former finca (farmhouse), will be renovated over the next 18 months to create indoor and outdoor classrooms and bedrooms for up to 14 people.
It comes complete with a swimming pool and some of the best views in Spain.
The property, known as La Paz, sits on top of a hill overlooking olive groves and the Mediterranean as well as the pretty village of El Portet and the small towns of Calpe and Moraira.
“Our goal is to make learning as exciting and enjoyable as possible,” explained group managing director, Laurna Woods. “So what better place than Spain to establish our Learning Academy?
“The availability of cheap travel from airlines such as our client easyJet and the current affordability of property in Spain, prompted us to make the investment.”
International clients and staff from Beattie offices in the UK and USA will come to Spain for training in subjects ranging from communications to Linkedin marketing to web marketing.
