Media Release: Aberdein Considine bolsters Edinburgh team with five new appointments

LEADING Scottish law firm, Aberdein Considine, has significantly expanded its legal team in Edinburgh with five new key appointments, three of which are at partner level.

Graham Scott joins as a private client partner and will be primarily based at the firm’s Edinburgh legal office located within the capital’s financial district.

Graham, who has expertise in trust and estate planning, is one of around only 20 solicitors in Scotland accredited by The Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Trust Law.

He brings with him over 20 years of experience in an area of law which is of growing importance to clients.

The firm’s legal office in Edinburgh also welcomes Leonie Donald as a partner. Leonie has extensive experience in both corporate and personal insolvency, finance litigation and personal injury. In addition to being Scottish qualified,

Leonie is in the process of completing exams to be dual qualified. Originally from Aberdeen, Leonie has worked in the Edinburgh legal market for the past ten years, including completing a six month secondment to Clydesdale Bank plc.

Joining the firm as a partner at the firm’s property office in Edinburgh is Julian Scott. Julian has vast experience in the Edinburgh residential property market, having previously been a partner at Shoosmiths (formerly Archibald, Campbell and Harley) for over 30 years. Julian is well-regarded in his field and will head up the firm’s residential property team at its Lothian Road base.

Ross Webb and Vicki Miller complete the new appointments in Edinburgh, with both joining the firm as solicitors. Ross joins with experience in litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis on corporate and personal insolvency, contract and property disputes and finance litigation.

Vicki is a specialist in personal injury and medical negligence and has comprehensive CICA Tribunal and Court of Session experience.
