Media Release: Win a trip for two to Vegas in Alea Glasgow Radio Clyde competition

Alea Radio Clyde allmedia

ALEA Glasgow, recognised as Scotland’s biggest gaming venue, has teamed up with 102.5 Clyde 1 to give one lucky listener the chance to walk away with a fantastic trip for two to Las Vegas – and another lucky and talented listener the chance to take centre stage at Alea for one spectacular night!

Starting this week, Clyde will ask listeners to try their hand at a game of luck. Each morning on its hugely popular breakfast and drive time shows, listeners can call in for a chance to take part in ‘Alea Las Vegas’.

In the studio there will be a roulette wheel. The presenter will bring on listeners to spin the roulette wheel and when it lands on a number, they will be asked a question. If they answer the question correctly they will be assigned that number from the roulette wheel and they will also win a meal for two at Alea’s beautiful Red Leaf restaurant.

They can take a gamble and try and get another number, but if they don’t get the question correct they will lose everything – but it doesn’t end there…

Listeners will then be invited to Alea at the end of three weeks of game play to enjoy a fantastic evening of entertainment, including the Alea Talent Show where they will be given the chance to win that fantastic trip to Vegas!

The competition is not just restricted to the radio though – simultaneously, all Alea customers can try their luck by entering into the Wildcard draw at reception and they could be drawn to be invited along to the night when the main Las Vegas draw is made.

Alea’s Got Talent will run online in tandem with the on-air competition and culminate in an event held the same night as the ‘Alea Las Vegas’ finale. Listeners will be encouraged to send Youtube or high quality video links of them singing to enter.

After two weeks of recruitment, an internal judging panel will select the top ten singing acts. These performers will be placed online at Clyde1.com where listeners will be prompted to vote on their favourite.

Paul Rety, managing director at Alea Glasgow, said: “We will then invite the top five acts from the ten to perform live at the event finale at Alea where a winner will be selected on the night by a team of Clyde 1 and Alea judges. The winner will walk away with a month residency at Alea on the Clyde at Springfield Quay.

“So listen out on Clyde for our Alea Las Vegas competition and you could soon be winging your way to Vegas. Alternatively, if you’ve got an amazing talent, remember to enter our Alea’s Got Talent competition for a chance to shine under our spotlight!”

With show stopping live entertainment, a luxurious casino, gaming floor and three cool bars, Alea casino has a package to suit everyone and every budget. It boasts 16 gaming tables including Punto Banco, Roulette, Blackjack and 3 card poker, as well as daily poker tournaments and cash poker tables.
