COSTA Coffee at The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns is organising a toy appeal for Les Hoey’s annual Christmas party for children in Scotland with life-threatening illnesses.

Customers are being asked to donate a new toy to the Costa store at The Avenue by the 13th December. All toys will then be donated to charity king Les Hoey MBE’s Christmas party at Motherwell’s Fir Park on 15th December.

Michelle McCabe, Centre Manager at The Avenue, said: “Costa’s toy appeal is a great way to help Les cheer up some sick kids this Christmas. I applaud both Les for his charity work and Costa Coffee store manager Pauline McCormack for her toy appeal initiative and being so supportive of Les’s wonderful event.”

The Avenue Shopping Centre, managed by commercial property consultancy BTWShiells, offers shoppers a warm and welcoming shopping experience conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.
