SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors has let restaurant premises in Dundee on a ten-year lease at £20,000 per annum to BJM Hospitality, which plans to open a fine dining restaurant trading as ‘Castlehill’ with a kitchen run by a multiple award-winning head chef.

The ground floor café and restaurant is located at 22 Exchange Street, on the southern edge of the city centre close to the junction with Commercial Street.

The 1,185 sq ft property caters for 47 covers and was fully fitted and ready for immediate occupation and use.

Jonathan Reid, partner at Shepherd, said: “We’re delighted to secure this lease, which provides further welcome evidence of Dundee’s buoyant hospitality sector.

“As anticipated, there was much demand for this property, which benefits from close proximity to the ongoing Dundee Waterfront development and, as such, is well located to take advantage of the increased interest in the area.”
