Media Release: Toast the Bard at the Roxburghe this Burns Night

LUXURY venue, the Roxburghe Hotel in Heiton, near Kelso, is hosting a Burns Night supper this 25th of January in celebration of Scotland’s Bard, Robbie Burns.

The Roxburghe is a traditional country house hotel on a magnificent estate in the Scottish Borders; the ideal place to celebrate one of the country’s national heroes.

The Burns Night package includes overnight accommodation in a classic room and a pre-dinner ‘Bobbie Burns’ cocktail. Guests will then be led into dinner by a traditional Scottish piper where chef, Gordon Campbell, and his team will serve a four-course Burns Supper, prepared with the best in local, seasonal produce, and accompanied by fine wine pairings for each course and a whisky dram to savour after the meal.

Rounding off the experience will be a traditional Scottish ceilidh and live band, giving guests the opportunity to dance the evening away with great music and great people. After a luxurious night’s sleep, guests will be treated to a delicious full Scottish breakfast to cap off an evening of fun and friends.

Part of the Roxburghe Estate which includes the historic Floors Castle, the 22 bedroom hotel features country house style with a contemporary twist.
