A LEADING Aberdeen-based oil and gas service company has announced further growth in turnover and plans to open a new office in Dubai during the coming year.
From the company’s headquarters in Dyce, Centrifuges Un-Limited specialise in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of a range of equipment including fuel/oily water separators, mud coolers for high pressure high temperature (HPHT) fluid management and the Elvos® slops treatment system.
Clients include major operators, drilling contractors and waste management companies.
For the financial year recently ended, the company saw revenues grow from £3.2 million to £5 million with the head count rising from 23 to 27.
As well as continuing to capitalise on a buoyant market in the North Sea, an increasing share of the company’s sales and rentals come from abroad with the percentage fast approaching a 50/50 split between UK and overseas business.
Key markets include Norway, Egypt, Brazil, North Africa and the Middle East where a sharp upturn in business has led to the recruitment of Aberdeen-born Gordon Bisset as regional sales manager and plans to create a strategic sales office in Dubai to service the needs of a growing number of clients throughout the region.
Commenting on the company’s ongoing success, Centrifuges Un-Limited managing director, Jim Shiach, said: “We are delighted that our figures show a healthy rise in revenues for the past year and we anticipate that the trend will continue in the current financial year.
