Media Release: Shepherd secures deals for Fife Council depots

ACTING on behalf of Fife Council, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has secured a couple of deals for former Fife Council depots which will be developed for new uses.

A 1.6 acre industrial complex with an extensive yard at Poplar Road, Glenrothes, has been sold to Monarch Supplies, a distributor of workwear and personal protection equipment to the global oil and energy industry, for £310,000.

And a 3.5 acre industrial complex at Strathore Road, Thornton has been leased to Elite Indoor Paintball Co at £46,000pa for three years.

Jonathan Reid, partner at Shepherd, said: “We are delighted to secure deals for these two former Fife Council depots and are currently receiving serious enquires for other depots at Hayfield and Denburn, in Kirkcaldy a welcome sign of a resurgence in demand for commercial and industrial property throughout the region.”
