Media Release: ISG wins second contract with five-star hospitality group

Old Course Hotel

ISG has secured its latest project with Old Course Ltd, part of the US-based Kohler Co., to upgrade corridor and air-conditioning facilities at the world famous Old Course Hotel in St Andrews.

This win builds on ISG’s relationship with the hospitality brand, which recently saw the contractor deliver a £multi-million luxury residential development at the iconic Hamilton Hall, overlooking the 18th green of the Old Course in the town.

With many high profile events taking place over the next two years, the hotel will play a prominent role in extending Scotland’s famous hospitality to the world.

Work has recently commenced on the fast-track project, which sees the replacement and upgrade of ventilation systems within 30 guest bedrooms, located across three floors of the hotel.

ISG will also undertake a programme of redecoration within associated corridor areas.

Alan McCarthy-Wyper, managing director of ISG’s Construction business, commented: “The hospitality sector is a core focus for the business across the UK, and the Old Course Hotel adds to our growing portfolio of high quality customers, which also includes Gleneagles, Thistle Hotels, Marriott and IHG.

“The Old Course Hotel will be highly visible over the coming years and we are delighted to once again be working with Old Course Ltd in preparation for many prestigious global events.”
