SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors has secured a pair of lettings on behalf of a private landlord in Glasgow and Burnside.
The 1,710 sq ft 498 Great Western Road, in Glasgow’s West End has been let to food shop Cook for £20,000 pa on a ten-year lease while the 410 sq ft 194 Dukes Road, Burnside has been let to Sichi-Beck Estate Agents for £7,000 per annum on a five-year lease.
Scott Grindlay, surveyor at Shepherd, said: “These two deals provide further welcome evidence of a resurgent demand for retail properties within Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
“There’s no doubt that there is a healthy level of demand for retail properties in good condition, in the right location and available on reasonable lease terms.”
