Ian Hannon, managing partner at Shepherd with responsibility for overseeing its commercial operation in Edinburgh, said: “We have been delighted to assist Kiltane in this and a number of other high profile acquisitions throughout Edinburgh.
“This unit occupies a highly prominent position within the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town on the prime Royal Mile, therefore we were not surprised at the level of interest the property generated. We were delighted to advise Kiltane Retail in the acquisition of such a prime unit which we feel will trade well, given the high tourist traffic in the area.”
The unit is scheduled to open late March 2014.
