ACTING on behalf of liquidator, Eileen Blackburn, partner and head of business recovery at French Duncan LLP, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors is offering the former Lundin Links Hotel within the popular East Neuk of Fife tourist location for sale.

The substantial ‘C’ Listed three-storey and attic hotel ceased trading in January and is now being offered for sale with development potential.

Lundin Links is a small village in Fife best known for its two golf courses, 12 miles from St Andrews. The hotel occupies a prominent corner site at the junction of Emsdorf Street and the busy Largo Road on the edge of the village centre of Lundin Links.

Offering a total of 13,000 sq ft of accommodation, the hotel comprises a conservatory, dining room, lounge, bar, manager’s accommodation, kitchen, cellar, staff changing area, laundry, stores, toilet facilities and two letting rooms on its ground floor.

The first floor comprises two function rooms, a kitchen, three en suite bedrooms and a store whilst the second floor houses ten en suite letting bedrooms. The attic houses a further four en suite letting bedrooms.

Jonathan Reid, commercial partner at Shepherd, said: “Given its prominent situation within this popular East Neuk of Fife tourist location, we anticipate keen interest in this property, particularly since Fife Council recently granted planning permission in principle for partial demolition and rebuilding of the hotel to form sheltered housing units.

“The property therefore offers potential for alternative use development.”

Offers are invited and interested parties should contact the sole selling agent on tel 01592 205442.
