LEADING mid-tier accountancy firm, French Duncan, is set to move up in the world with the relocation of its Glasgow office into the top two floors of a modern office building in Finnieston.

The move from its long-term home on West George Street into 13,200 sq ft of Grade A space on the ninth and tenth floors at 133 Finnieston Street marks the latest significant step in French Duncan’s programme of development which last month saw it recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-growing accountancy firms.

French Duncan managing partner, Graeme Finnie, said: “Our move into these modern open plan premises represents further tangible evidence of our ambition to secure wider recognition as Scotland’s premier independent accountancy practice, following a sustained period of growth that has included our merger with Macfarlane Gray, some substantial client wins and a six per cent rise in fee income.

“These stunning new facilities reflect our ambitions as a firm and provide us with excellent communication links with easy access to the M8 Motorway and the Exhibition Railway Station directly opposite.

“Some 85 staff will relocate into our new office by the end of March, which, as well as providing a much-improved working environment, also delivers a high-quality space within which to meet our clients – whilst affording opportunities to enjoy a panoramic view over the impressive new Hydro and surrounding Clydeside cityscape.”

French Duncan LLP has 20 partners and nearly 200 staff operating from a network of offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Hamilton, Dumbarton and Kirkintilloch.
