CG Coffee, the supplier of Caffe Carraro coffee, has secured the sole Scottish distribution of Wega Espresso machines.
Based in Treviso Italy, Wega is a division of the CMA group, renowned in the UK for supplying the espresso equipment to all Costa Coffee sites. Its core business is the production and distribution of professional espresso coffee machines and coffee grinders.
Carlos Avila, co-founder of CG Coffee, said: “We decided to sign up with Wega Espresso equipment due to our background in working with CMA machines. We know very well the quality of build, their reliability and, more importantly, the ability to deliver consistent, high-qulaity espresso.
CG Coffee supplies the full range of Wega machines that suites a variety of outlets based on size, design and price; from the entry level Alto to the retro design Vela Vintage through to the state of the art Wega Concept.
All equipment is available through CG Coffee through lease, purchase or rental for as little as £3.50 per day.
CG Coffee was established four years ago by industry veteran of 25 years Avila, known in the coffee industry as the front man for Costa wholesale in Scotland for 18 years, together with Wright, who has years of experience in the art of coffee, working with established coffee roasters Matthew Algie and Costa Coffee.
In addition to Wega Espresso machines, CG Coffee offers high quality coffee beans from Italian coffee roaster Caffe Carraro and associated products, such as crockery and biscuits.
