Media Release: La Bonne Auberge welcomes summer with new seasonal menus

THE AA rosette La Bonne Auberge brasserie at Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland has introduced delicious new summer menus offering diners a fresh selection of exceptional French Mediterranean cuisine.

Conceived by award-winning executive head chef, Gerry Sharkey, the restaurant’s new prix fixe summer menu offers starters of: freshly prepared soup; smoked peppered mackerel rillettes and rich chicken liver parfait.

Main dishes include:  barbecued pork cutlet; pan fried fillet of seabass; paprika and garlic scented chicken and mushroom, leek and goats cheese tart. The dessert selection, meanwhile, features: vanilla panna cotta; warm coconut and raspberry tart and La Bonne Auberge summer sundae.

La Bonne Auberge menu prix fixe offers two courses for £18.95 (£16.95 before 6.30pm) or three courses for £24.95.

And its new a la carte menu features such starters as: French onion soup; ripe seasonal melon; McSween’s haggis; smoked chicken roulade and twice baked cheese soufflé.

A la carte main dishes include: salted caramelised onion tart; smoked cod loin; corn fed chicken supreme; roast Gressingham duck breast; braised Scotch beef bourguignon and whole grilled sole. Desserts, meanwhile, include: fresh fruit salad; sticky toffee pudding and a selection of cheese.

In addition to a grill menu featuring the finest quality Scotch beef, pork and lamb, the new menu features a lunch special of croque monsieur – a pan-fried ham and Swiss cheese sandwich served with a light cheese sauce, salad garnish and fries followed by chocolate profiteroles for £8.95.

La Bonne Auberge is located in the heart of Theatreland in Glasgow city centre and surrounded by some of Glasgow’s top theatres, as well as Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
