BARRY Laurie, a partner in leading mid-tier accountancy firm French Duncan, has scaled new heights to help raise funds for Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland, the organisation of which he is treasurer and a trustee.
Laurie was one of a group of HIT supporters which this week reached the summit of Gran Paradiso, the highest mountain in Italy at over 4,000m – raising thousands of pounds for The HIT Emerging Talent Scholarship Programme in the process.
