QUIRKY Edinburgh bakery, Cuckoo’s, have yet again sparked memories of nostalgic sun-filled summers on Portobello beach with the launch of their Summer Holiday Range – which includes lollies, ice creams and summer desserts that have been given the Cuckoos makeover and are sure to bring out the child in all of us.
Cuckoo’s Bakery on Dundas Street, Harvey Nichols Edinburgh and Waterstones Princes Street will all stock the full range of freshly made cupcakes delivered daily.

The 99
Vanilla seed sponge filled with Galloway Lodge strawberry jam, topped with a swirl of vanilla buttercream, a mini cone and chocolate flake.
Twisted
Crushed pineapple sponge filled with Galloway Lodge raspberry jam and finished with a twist of lime and vanilla buttercream.
Feastival
Dark chocolate sponge filled with Belgian chocolate ganache, topped with Italian meringue and dipped in chocolate and almonds.
Tutti Frutti
Our vanilla seed sponge gets the rainbow makeover and is topped with a host of fruity flavoured buttercreams.

Fresh strawberries baked through our scrumptious vanilla sponge, topped with strawberry buttercream and half dipped in chocolate!
Banana Split
Banana sponge made with gluten-free flour, filled with chocolate caramel ganache and finished with banana buttercream.

Cuckoo’s founders, the fabulous best friends Graham and Vidya, turned their baking fantasy into a successful reality opening their New Town store in February 2011. Recently, Cuckoo’s Bakery won the award of ‘Best Cake in Scotland 2014′ for their Raspberry and White Chocolate cupcake.
