LANARK-based Border Biscuits has launched its biggest consumer advertising campaign to date, with a series of creative ads highlighting the brand’s personality and 30-year heritage.
The print media campaign will run from August until October, within national glossy consumer magazines including OK!, Red, BBC Good Food, Good Housekeeping and Woman & Home.
Showcasing three creative ideas, the stylish adverts bring to life the extreme measures that people go to in order to ‘hide’ their Border Biscuits and keep them for themselves.
Using the strapline, ‘Are you a Border Hoarder?’, the playful creatives capture Border Biscuits being stashed in the washing machine, the shoe cupboard and even the underwear drawer!
Shot by Richard Mountney and art directed by David Reid, marketing director at Border Biscuits, the advertising campaign communicates how Border Biscuits has been baking its biscuits exactly the same way for over 30 years, with absolutely nothing to hide.
Louise Creevy, sales and marketing manager at Border Biscuits, said: “Our customers are always telling us how much they love our biscuits and the lengths they go to in order to hide them and enjoy them.
“We wanted the advertising campaign to communicate the brand’s personality and appeal directly to our core audience of female shoppers and we’re really pleased with the results.”
