EDINBURGH-based event production and broadcast company, Metro Ecosse, has opened a new office in Aberdeen as it seeks to expand into the North-east market.
Metro Ecosse, which is a fully-owned subsidiary of WPP Group Plc, is one of the UK’s top creative events and production services companies and produces and supports conferences, AGMs, award ceremonies exhibitions and roadshows.
Recent project work with local energy companies including Forum Technologies, SPX and OPITO has underpinned the company’s decision to open its city centre new office, with more work scheduled for 2015.
Metro Ecosse also includes RBS, NHS Health Scotland, Scottish Power, Accenture, Experian and Allergan among its nationwide clients, serviced through its Edinburgh and Glasgow bases.
Head of Projects, Aberdeen, Ross Mackie, believes the move into Aberdeen will be successful for Metro Ecosse as clients look for a fully integrated production solution.
“We made the decision to open up an Aberdeen office as we believe Metro Ecosse can provide a service which the Aberdeen market is looking for,” he said.
“We believe that today companies have high expectations of communications and event solutions and will be looking to stand out from the crowd. We feel we can help by offering bespoke and eye-catching displays, animations and corporate videos.
“We have already completed a number of jobs for local companies and the feedback has been great, we want to build on this and I believe our very cost-effective and tailored approach will prove popular within the oil and gas and other sectors.”
Metro Ecosse specialises in the technical production of corporate events across the UK and internationally. The company’s project managers and technicians find innovative ways to integrate presentation, video, sound, lighting and set – supporting corporate brands in conferences, road shows and live communications.
The broadcast service team provides equipment, edit facilities, shoots and crews for TV, broadcasters, corporate clients, concerts and festivals, with highly skilled editors and graphic designers producing exclusive content.
Metro Ecosse have a specialist custom design and installation team that installs video, projection and sound systems, video conferencing facilities and digital signage for corporate clients that include Experian, the FCA and ScottishPower.
