Inspired by their highly successful Italian Barbeque in May, on the 29th November House for an Art Lover will present a spectacular evening of appetizing food and wine with food enthusiast and owner of Garlic, Giovanna Eusebi. 

The event promises to be an eventful evening with live Italian music by talented singer Raymond Armstrong, and wine provided by the renowned wine merchant Bibendum. Seeking to complement the flavour of each delectable course, a new wine will be presented to guests by Bibendum’s knowledgeable representative David Austen.

The elegant event will take place in the beautiful and atmospheric surroundings of the Mackintosh Suite where guests will be treated to an impressive four-course meal commencing at 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Giovanna’s passion for food is evident in both her traditional appetising cuisine and the quality wine and produce showcased in her small delicatessen, Garlic, located in the east end of Glasgow.  Descending from a long line of food aficionados, Giovanna brings her appreciation for flavourful food and quality produce to the dinner table for guests to savour.

Believing that ‘to cook is to be involved with life’, home-made Italian sausage and pastas are just some of the delights you’ll find in her shop and she is well known for relentlessly searching for outstanding products to be featured in her delicatessen.

The dinner will include a variety of innovative Italian dishes such as perfectly smoked baby aubergine soufflé served with wild mushroom and delicate crostini Crab cannelloni with langoustine bisque.
