Majestic Line Launch First Ever Easter Cruise
Now that the trees and tinsel are down, it’s time to start thinking about Easter, and The Majestic Line have given us a very good reason to do so by launching their first Easter cruise.
What better way to get through the long winter nights than by having something to look forward to?
The Majestic Line concept was born in 2004 when Andy Thoms and Ken Grant bought their first impressively crafted wooden hulled vessel, The Glen Massan, and converted it into a beautiful mini cruiser. Now they own two such boats, the second being the Glen Tarsan.
The Easter Cruise will be a three night journey through the sea lochs of Cowal and southern Argyll. Cruise stunning, sheltered sea lochs and anchor off remote inlets to soak in the tranquility. Relax on board while watching the world pass gently by and having your every need catered for. Visit remote coastlines and watch out for a variety of bird life and sea mammals from the boat decks. Go ashore to explore coastal villages, castles and gardens, choosing from many delightful walks.
Typical cruise highlights§ Sail Loch Long to Arrochar, then drop anchor in Loch Goil for the night with Carrick Castle as a unique backdrop for dinner
§ Visit scenic Lochgoilhead in its pretty mountain setting
§ Sail to the Isle of Bute and go ashore to explore the seaside town of Rothesay or visit spectacular Mount Stuart House and Gardens
§ Cruise through the beautiful Kyles of Bute. Take a shore walk from picturesque Caladh Harbour to Tighnabruaich and explore the town
§ Anchor in remote Loch Riddon and try your hand at fishing from the boat or laying lobster creels from the boat tender
§ Sail to East Loch Tarbert, a typical working West Coast fishing village
§ Anchor off historic Stonefield Castle on Loch Fyne and visit the castle gardens
