In with the New: Norfolkline Prepares for 2010

Norfolkline is introducing a brand new pricing structure and range of booking options for its Rosyth – Zeebrugge route, for all journeys from 01 January 2010.

Launching this week, the new booking system will offer customers an extended range of travel options and variable pricing.

By replacing its original set fare table, Norfolkline is adopting a more flexible system of pricing, similar to that commonly used by airlines and hotels. Best available prices will be quoted based on the individual requirements selected, with earlier bookings now able to benefit from cheaper deals.

Cabin rates will also be changing. From 2010 onwards, fares will be based on two adults sharing, as opposed to four, with additional passengers added individually via an adult or child supplement.

Prices for 2010 start from: foot passenger and Pullman seat - £44 single; car and Pullman seat - £107 single; cabin and two adult foot passengers - £156 single; cabin, car and two adults - £216 single, subject to availability.

Norfolkline has also introduced a wider range of travel options, designed to tailor every journey to the needs of the individual passenger. Customers will now be able to select a Club Class or Family upgrade with their cabin booking. For a supplement of £25 per person, per journey, the Club Class package comprise an outdoor cabin with fruit and water, complimentary toiletries, window seats in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner plus table service and carafe of red or white wine, 20 percent discount in the onboard shop and complimentary passes for the onboard facilities. Alternatively, families can enjoy a larger outside cabin with extra room to accommodate a baby cot, for the Family supplement of just £10 per cabin per journey.

In conjunction with the new system, Norfolkline has unveiled its new website. With a focus on layout, navigation and accessibility, the new design features route-specific pages with a host of information, images and handy links creating a one-stop-shop for passengers and potential customers.
