Weber Shandwick Expands Aberdeen

Leading Scottish public relations consultancy Weber Shandwick is strengthening its Aberdeen team with the appointment of Neil Robertson as consultant.

Robertson, whose experience stretches over 20 years, was formerly a director of The PR Partnership (Scotland) Ltd.

Neil will be predominantly working on a range of corporate and energy clients as well as playing a key role in Aberdeen’s client emergency response team.

Vicky Florence also joins the Aberdeen office, as an account executive.  A first class honours graduate in Corporate Communications from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, she received a number of awards during her studies, including the Grampian PR Group Top Student. Her previous experience includes working for another PR company in Aberdeen and for Aberdeenshire Council.

Moray Macdonald, deputy managing director of Weber Shandwick said: “Neil brings a wealth of experience to our expanding northern offices. As a consultant, his PR expertise will be a valuable asset to all our clients.

“Vicky too is an excellent addition to our Aberdeen office.  Her experience in digital communications will be instrumental to the future of Weber Shandwick and our commitment to driving the business forward in 2010 for all our clients."

Weber Shandwick is continuing to expand the Aberdeen office by recruiting for an account manager. The expansion of Aberdeen’s office follows the recent recruitment of two key people at its Inverness operation, underlining an increase in business in the North.
