Hello Scotland, the highly successful Glasgow-based destination management company which introduces corporate clients to the best travel and hospitality experiences that Scotland can offer, is now making its first moves to do the same in England.

Led by Hello Scotland General Manager, Isla Buchanan, who is re-locating south of the border, the company has opened a Hello office in the heart of the Midlands at Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire.

The Hello Family expansion, following in the footsteps of its successful Scottish sister company, will specialise in event management, incentive packages and conferences which can attract groups from both the UK and overseas to the region which includes Shakespeare’s Warwickshire, the Cotswolds and the Welsh Marches.

Launched in 1996 by founding Managing Director Bill Thomson, with the aim of developing blue chip corporate incentive breaks, bespoke days, dinners and events in Scotland, Hello Scotland has built widespread recognition of its brand in Germany, Benelux and Scandinavia and is now regarded as a market leader in the highly competitive destination management sector.

Isla Buchanan said: "Hello Scotland recently secured a deal with Austria’s Raiffeisen Bank’s own travel agency worth in excess of £1m to bring their clients to Scotland in 2009 and we have long believed that we can replicate such success in England. I am moving south with a remit to build the business in the Midlands though we will still hope to direct potential customers also to Scotland."

Bill Thomson said: "Over the last twelve years we have proved the Hello Scotland concept and we now want to spread our wings throughout the rest of the United Kingdom. Isla is a fundamental part of Hello Scotland and I can think of no one better suited to build our brand of hand-crafted incentive travel successfully in England."
