The credit crunch may be hitting the high street hard but shoppers should rest assured that they can find amazing value at Poundland, which has just announced plans to open in St John’s Shopping Centre later this year.

As Europe's largest single-priced retailer, Poundland now has 187 stores in the UK and is currently undergoing a nationwide expansion.

Poundland was established in April 1990 and offers customers thousands of products at just £1 each – representing great value for money.
