Leading jewellery company Ortak has this week revealed the new face of the brand. Glamorous television presenter Amanda Lamb has signed up with Ortak, one of the UK’s biggest designers and manufacturers of silver and gold jewellery to model their stunning new collection.

Amanda Lamb began her climb to stardom as a model in the nineties – when she was best known as the beguiling smile behind the cloaked and mysterious Scottish Widow in the investment’s company’s famous advertisements. Today she is more well-known as the curvaceous presenter of hot property show A Place in the Sun, and now as the sophisticated new face of Ortak.

In the brochure, showcasing the new range, Amanda will deliver a fabulous sense of seductive forties Hollywood glamour to tie with the jeweller’s compelling new range. Amanda, who claims jewellery is one of her guiltiest pleasures, said: “Being the new face of Ortak is an absolutely wonderful opportunity – who wouldn’t jump at the chance to wear lots of their gorgeous jewellery? I am already coveting several pieces of their new collection and planning outfits around them.”

Ortak’s stunning new collection is evocative of the 1940s – one of the most glamorously stylish decades, and still gracing the pages of fashion magazines today. Ortak have applied a very well conceived and fashion-led creative to the new campaign with Amanda - ensuring that not only does the historical inspiration of Ortak’s collection shine through in the imagery, but also that the company is situated at the cutting edge of the fashion industry. The campaign – which shall be revealed in October (to be confirmed) will form the basis of an innovative new image for Ortak’s twelve UK stores.

Alistair Gray, managing director for Ortak, said: “What’s terrific about getting Amanda on board with us is that she is a well-known and well-loved face due to her television career, and having been a model, she knows exactly how to bring everything to life in front of the camera. The results will really take your breath away.

“Ortak has its roots in a traditional heritage, but we have always maintained a position at the forefront of fresh, modern design as well, and because Amanda’s beauty is so timeless and appeals to such a wide spectrum of women, this new partnership couldn’t be any more perfect.”

From modest beginnings in 1967, Ortak has grown steadily to become one of the UK's leading designers and manufacturers of gold and silver jewellery.

The twelve stores, located in Orkney, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee, Newcastle and Sheffield and the online store at www.ortak.co.uk, stock a stunning selection of jewellery which is frequently refreshed with new designs from the in-house design team at Ortak.
