A top Scottish fishing team – the Menteith Ospreys have just landed the biggest catch in their history, they took delivery of a brand new top of the range Ford Galaxy courtesy of Budget Rent a Car in Perth, the car and van rental arm of Macrae & Dick Ltd.

 

The team had encountered problems arranging transport until Budget Rent a Car came to the rescue and kindly donated the 7-seater people carrier for their journey South of the border. The team, boasting 6 Scottish internationalists, stormed their way to the Angling Water/Fulling Mill International final, held on the 1st and 2nd of October in Rutland.

 

James Hamilton, General Manager of Budget Rent a Car said “We were delighted to support Scottish Fishing by giving the Monteith Ospreys the use of a luxury people carrier for their competition. Fishing is one of the most popular pastimes in the world and is something that, as a strong Scottish sport and part of our national heritage, we are more than proud to support.”
