Frame devastated by sudden death

THE founding partner of a Glasgow-based marketing services company that only recently won the marketing accounts for sandwich shop franchise, Subway, and brewers, Scottish & Newcastle, has died suddenly.

Alan Frame died of a heart attack on Sunday. He set up Frame, now based in Glasgow’s Merchant City, in 1989.

Only last year, the agency was recognised in Scotland as Marketing Services Company of the Year, after having topped client and peer polls the previous year.

Said Richard Sowerby, chair of Frame: “Alan was a true inspiration to all who knew him and was also a great personal friend. He will be sadly missed by all at Frame and all who worked with us. Our thoughts just now are especially with his family.”
