NUJ offering free training in ‘digital convergence’

AS print journalists are increasingly required to convert their work into a video package, for uploading on to a website, so the National Union of Journalists is to provide free training on how to translate a script on to screen, desktop editing and on how to make a short feature film.

The so-called Digital Convergence training is scheduled for next month, between the 4th and 7th, and is funded through the STUC Learning Fund. Places are limited and available only to NUJ members.
