Bowie a contender for Breakfast title at Sonys

A RADIO Clyde presenter has been nominated for a prize at the UK’s top radio awards, the Sonys.

But George Bowie faces stiff competition in the form of, among others, Chris Moyles and Johnny Vaughan if he wants to take the Breakfast Show title.

The awards, which will be announced on the 12th of next month, also sees BBC Radio Scotland’s Edi Stark and Real Radio Scotland in the running: in the speech broadcaster and station (one million-plus listeners) categories.
