Pitch Win for New Food and Drink PR Agency

Just six weeks after starting trading, a PR company co-founded by former STV presenter, Stephen Jardine, has won a five-way pitch to represent Edinburgh’s newest Indian restaurant.

Taste Communications, specialising in food and drink PR, will organise the official opening of Mithas in Leith and a subsequent media campaign to establish the restaurant’s profile.

Jardine set up the company with former BBC Scotland Reporting Scotland editor, Jim Duff, who is quoted in a Taste media release, saying: “This is going to be one of the most talked-about restaurants in Scotland and we’re delighted to have won the business.”

Other new business includes promotional campaigns for both Braehead Foods near Kilmarnock and Cook School Scotland based at the same location.

Jardine has also recently started writing for The Scotsman newspaper on food and drink.
