Marketing innovations to be showcased in Edinburgh

RECENT innovations in marketing are to be showcased at a seminar taking place in Edinburgh later this month.

At the Edinburgh International Marketing Festival – taking place on the 20th and 21st – several leaders of the marketing and communications industry will be – say the organisers – “presenting the latest in thinking and practice in marketing and communications over the last year, focusing on how cutting edge practice and technique has delivered value and growth for brands and services”.

Opening the event will be Tim Lefroy, chief executive of The Advertising Association, and among those leading the debate will be Paul Bainsfair, director general of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising; Jim Wolff of The Leith Agency; Jane Wilson, chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations; and Hugh Burkitt, chief executive of The Marketing Society.
