Shelter Scotland among Scots entries shortlisted in PR competition

A CAMPAIGN by Scots charity, Shelter Scotland, has been shortlisted in an UK-wide competition celebrating public relations.

‘No room at the inn for Scotland’s homeless children’ was named in the Digital and New Media category of the annual awards run by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA).

The winners will be announced on November 13.

It also received a nomination in the not-for-profit and charity category, for the same campaign. In the same category, Scots PR agency, Tricker, also received a nomination, for its campaign: Deer oh Deer…Venison ice cream – whatever next?

Also among the nominees is Edinburgh-based Orbit Communications, for ‘Going for Gold with Scotland’s first commercial gold mine’, which is in the running for the Public Affairs prize.

Elsewhere, Rachel Goddard, is named a nominee in the In-house Professional of the Year category. She is based at The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.
