New Scots head appointed for PR rep body, the PRCA

THE representative body for PR consultancies has appointed its first-ever member of staff with special responsibility for Scotland.

The Public Relations Consultants Association has announced Wilma Littlejohn is to “support the development of the PRCA’s two Scottish groups by arranging events, keeping members updated and helping group members achieve media coverage for their activities”.

The groups are the Scotland Group which “offers an outlet for Scotland’s community of PR practitioners, offering networking opportunities to share expertise and insight” and the Scotland Frontline Group, which “offers information, support and advice to newcomers to the PR industry, from graduate to account director level”.

Chair of the Scotland Group is Lesley Clark, of Clark Communications, and Kirsty Grant, of Grayling.

Most recently, Wilma has worked as a marketing manager at professional services company, Ernst & Young, and property people, Savills.
