Advertising effectiveness awards competition issues call for entries

AN awards competition celebrating the most effective advertising and marketing campaigns in the UK  has issued a call for entries.

The deadline for entries to the ‘Effectiveness Awards‘ run by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising is April 30.

Says the IPA, in a media release: “The 2014 IPA Effectiveness Awards is now open for entry… with new prizes to reflect both its widening international reach and smaller budgets now it has reverted to a biennial timetable by absorbing the odd-year limited competition. Between now and its April 2014 closing date, entrants will also be able to take advantage of a series of free workshops and an IPA-subsidised awards advisory service, if they pre-register by the end of January 2104.”

The award categories are as follows:

· Grand Prix

· Best Dedication to Effectiveness (The Broadbent Prize)

· Best International

· Best Multi-Market

· Best New Learning (The Channon Prize)

· Best Small Budget

· Effectiveness Company of the Year

· Effectiveness Network of the Year
