Gala screening of Bond remake to benefit cinema and TV charity

A REMAKE of the old James Bond movie, Casino Royale – starring the new James Bond, Daniel Craig – is to enjoy a special, charity screening in Glasgow next month.

In almost a fortnight’s time, the ‘red carpet’ is to be rolled out on behalf of the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, which exists to support people, plus their dependants, who work ‘behind the scenes’ in the film and television industries.

Book your tickets today for the screening, which is taking place on the 15th of next month, just 24 hours after the movie receives its world premiere, at the Odeon Leicester Square, London.

Previous movie screenings which have been used to raise funds for the CTBF include Rob Roy, Love Story, Chariots of Fire, Titanic and Die Another Day. The first CTBF fundraising screening was exactly 60 years ago, of ‘A Matter of Life or Death’, starring David Niven.
