Scottish titles saved in planned Trinity Mirror sell-off

ALL the Scottish newspapers published by Trinity Mirror – including the Daily Record and Scottish & Universal titles such as the Paisley Daily Express and the Stirling Observer – have been saved from a possible sell-off.

But Trinity Mirror has announced – following an in-depth review of its operations by investment bank, NM Rothschild – that it is to sell The Racing Post and 138 regional titles in the south and midlands of England.

Particularly in the south of England, Trinity Mirror’s local titles have been up against intense competition.
