HUNDREDS of pounds for a radio station charity is expected to be netted in one day in Edinburgh later this month – thanks to car parking fines.
It follows an initiative by Grant Stott who, as well as presenting stv football programme, Scotsport, is also a mid-morning presenter on radio station, Forth One.
He has convinced Edinburgh City Council to become involved in the station’s Bring a Pound Day, aimed at raising money for its Help a Child Appeal charity.
