Crisp move for Record in ad deal

THE Daily Record and Sunday Mail have won the contract to be the newspaper home to a major advertising campaign by the makers of Golden Wonder crisps.

The campaign will run for six weeks, from next month, with the promise of the brand having a “new personality” to “create a renewed habit of purchasing Golden Wonder crisps”.

Brokering the deal was Scottish media space buying agency, Feathers Brooksbank.

Says Craig Houston, senior advertising manager at Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail Ltd: “Our partnership with Golden Wonder was based on a clear understanding of our client’s objectives, and we know we can deliver a multi-dimensional campaign using the market leading titles within our portfolio.

“We are confident that our innovative solutions will successfully deliver results for Golden Wonder.”
