World Press Freedom Day hope for Johnston

TODAY is World Press Freedom Day and a rally at the United Nations HQ in New York is hoping to end in the release of BBC correspondent, Alan Johnston, who has been missing – presumed held captive – in Gaza, in the Middle East, for over 50 days.

The rally will be led by the BBC’s World Editor, Jon Williams, and will be supported by calls for Johnston’s release throughout the BBC’s 41 bureaux – in 38 different countries.
