A TWO-day workshop about TV commissioning and international TV co-production is being staged in Edinburgh next month, with an international panel of speakers on hand to share their experiences.
The event, staged by the Scottish Documentary Institute, will see speakers from the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden join BBC Scotland’s Jo Roe, stv’s Henry Eagles and Kate Vogel, of Channel Four, to provide “filmmakers the opportunity to learn about the international audio-visual landscape for documentaries”.
Says the SDI: “It is open to all filmmakers based in the UK, and particularly aims at independent
filmmakers who are trying to get a first commission, or starting to think about international co-productions.”
