WHEN Scottish movie, The Flying Scotsman, opens, on general release, on Friday, the opening credits will include distributors, MGM’s iconic ‘roaring lion’.
By spooky coincidence, the following evening, the BBC One drama, Jekyll, will open with shots from a lion’s cage.
Spookier still, the director of both The Flying Scotsman and Jekyll is Isle of Skye-born Douglas Mackinnon.
