MySpace movie today hosting auditions in Edinburgh

A FEATURE-length film that is being partly put together on the instructions of visitors to the social networking website, MySpace, is in Edinburgh today – auditioning actors.

‘Faintheart’ is described as “a hilarious romantic comedy about the lives of a group of people who re-enact Viking battles as a hobby” and, already, its director, Vito Rocco, has been chosen by MySpace visitors. Some dialogue has also been contributed by visitors.

Also involved in the project is Vertigo Films and Film4.

Aspiring actors can audition for eight different roles in Faintheart, by visiting a ‘casting bus’ parked at the capital’s Festival Square.
