THE former chief executive at the Scottish Football Association has described the Scottish media as “very demanding”.
David Taylor, now general secretary at European football governing body, Uefa, and based in Switzerland, was taking part in a webchat on Wednesday.
To the question, “How is your experience at the Scottish FA different to your first few months at UEFA?”, replied: “Many of the issues that you have to deal with are actually the same sort of issues. The difference is the daily media spotlight – you are in the glare in Scotland.
“A wonderful country, but it is a challenge to live with and work with a very demanding media. I should also state, though, that the office in Nyon does have a better view than the one I had at the Scottish Football Association.”
