Control leads independent film cast

A BIOPIC of a troubled musician leads the way among the films shortlisted for this year’s British Independent Film Awards.

Control, about Ian Curtis of the band, Joy Division, has received ten nominations, three ahead of And When Did You Last See Your Father? and four ahead Scots movie, Hallam Foe.

Control was made by Anton Corbijin.
